INTERMISSION - AELYREAS REALM

After Josh has defeated the Twister, he wanders trough the world of Aelyrea: A surreal dimension, created by the fantasies of the captured humans. Magnificent squares enclosed in wafting red-and-white fog and a large main street lined with countless cars and exhuberantly celebrating people. At the end of the street, a huge jagged mountain emerges from the fog, the gate to Aelyrea's palace. Here Josh recognizes many people who have dissapeared from earth or seemed to have died of the virus. The people who have been abducted here seem to be happy and celebrate rushing feasts. But Josh has to realize that these people are also in great danger. As soon as they feel a certain moment of happiness and contentment, they are attacked by a Twister, unnoticed by the crowd. The parts of their shredded souls are gradually brought to Aelyrea, who feeds on them.
